We’re having so much fun during our Summer of Magic, month of Potter festivities! But let’s not forget about Wrock the Vote which is one of the building blocks of our Summer of Magic! 

 Voting is essential to our lives, especially here to the states. There’s so many reasons to vote. Your voicedoesmatter! One vote can change everything! Every single one of us needs to take a stand.

 The fact that we all have the right to vote now is incredible. Think about it, it wasn’t too terribly long ago that the Women’s Suffrage was going on, and before that we had poll taxes and literacy tests to determine who can vote. Voting rights have come a long way since then and it’s so important that we take a stand. There are a lot of things on these elections that you should have a say in. Same-sex marriage, education reform, etc. are all on these ballots. If you’re not registered, how will anyone hear your opinion? How can you possibly get the results that you want to see if your opinion isn’t entered? We cannot sit quiet and expect to get what we want. Stand up and let the know what you have to say!

To sum this up: you have a say. Your voice matters. All it takes is the time to register and hit the polls on election days. It’s so easy! I registered while renewing my driver’s license! You can do it, too!
