The Harry Potter Alliance

One of the most magical things in the world is love. Love saves people, and it never fails. I love God, I love my friends, and I love Harry Potter. So there’s this charity called the HPA. It’s the awesomest charity I know. They use the power of Potter to decrease world suck. The HPA not only has the HPA done a lot of charity work, but it’s done a lot for me. The HPA gave me the most wonderful gift- friendship. During the summer I joined the HPA FTW staff to help win $250,000. I had joined a bit late, but the people were kind. And soon, they became some of the best friends I’ve ever had. These people didn’t know me, I had never met them, but they cared about me and what I had to say. They made me happy. For once in my life, I felt as if i belonged somewhere. I felt important. I felt as if I wouldn’t be judged for what I like. I felt happy. It was the most wonderful feeling in the world. And today I can say that they changed my life. They may not know it, but they’re the reason I’m still alive today. So to my HPA friends, to my Harry Potter friends, to Jo Rowling, to TLC, and to the HPA, THANK YOU. ~Swaneet
